The aim of this conference is to bring together leading scientists from Mathematical Analysis, working on evolution equations and related topics. This conference is dedicated to the memory of our distinguished colleague and friend Günter Lumer, who passed away in June 2005.

The conference will start on Monday, August 28th at noon at the University of Mons and will finish on Friday, September 1st in the afternoon. The lectures will be held in Mons from Monday to Wednesday, and in Valenciennes on Thursday and Friday.
