Greeting

The LAMIH (UMR CNRS 8201) of the University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis will host the “2016 Chinese-French Workshop on Process for Energy and Environment Issues" (CFW-2016), which will take place in the Campus of Mont Houy, Valenciennes (France) from 17 to 19, October, 2016. This event will encourage collaboration and promote concrete research projects between laboratories of both countries, France and China. The main purpose of this meeting is to create new research opportunities for cooperation and collaboration in sustainable energy between Chinese and French laboratories. This workshop, which is programmed each year alternatively in France and in China, will be devoted to promote the exchange of new ideas and techniques in leveraging the latest in scientific technology.

About the CFW

The CFW is the third annual workshop (Albi – France (2014), Tianjin - China (2015) and Valenciennes - France (2016)) after the five annual meetings of Sino-French Laboratory for Sustainable Energy (LIA-LSE) for collaborations between the National Centre of Scientific Research (CNRS, France) and the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). These LIA-LSE annual meetings already took places at Aix-Les Bains (France) in 2008, Dialian (China) in 2009, Perpignan (France) in 2010, Guangzhou (China) in 2011, Nantes (France) in 2012 and Shanghai (China) in 2013.
