Instructions for authors

Submission of full draft papers and/or invited session papers on or before April 1, 2006

  • On-line submission system

The page limit for either paper is 6 pages. Please follow the standard CTW format.

Procedures for invited sessions

Organizers of Invited Sessions must e-mail the following information to eam06@univ-valenciennes.fr :

  • the name of the session organizer,
  • the title of the session,
  • a 10-line resume of the proposed session content,
  • the title and the authors of the submitted full papers (4 papers max).

Please note that each paper included in an Invited Session must follow the normal submission procedure (see below).

Submission of accepted full papers on or before June 1, 2006

Camera-ready manuscripts should be no longer than 6 pages and adhere to the standard CTW format.

When sending this final manuscript, please follow the following steps carefully :

  • Using the username and password provided in the acceptance notification email, connect into the registration page on the LAMIH server and fill out the registration form (on-line registration system)
    Or exceptionally, print the registration form (registration_form_EAM06.doc), fill it out and send it to Isabelle Oliveira - LAMIH-SHM, Université de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambrésis - Le Mont Houy - 59313 Valenciennes CEDEX 9 - FRANCE
  • At least one of the paper's authors must register for the conference before sending the final manuscript.
  • Using the username and password provided in the acceptance notification email, connect into the paper uploading page on the LAMIH server and upload the final paper (on-line submission system). Only pdf files are accepted; size limit is limited to 2Mo.

Information for speakers

  • Time for speakers is limited to 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions/answers.
  • The lecture room will be equipped with a computer, a video projector for PowerPoint presentations, and an overhead slide projector. The preferred media is Powerpoint presentations.

    In order to simplify the management of the PowerPoint files, they will be pre-installed in the appropriate lecture room. There fore, if possible, PowerPoint presentations should be sent by email to eam06@univ-valenciennes.fr before the 15th of September 2006. Otherwise, please give a copy to the person at the registration desk when you register (CD-ROM, USB memory stick, floppy disk).
  • A room with internet access will be provided free of charge.
